Production of Wendler Masks and sewing sets
In response to increased demand and the strong downturn in the global apparel industry, we had the idea of supporting the production of face masks by producing our own masks based on our own Wendler products.
We quickly handled the short-term market demand and were able to produce a total of approx. 1.2 million face masks in Europe from April until today. The face mask has 2 layers, the cotton fabric is washable, certified according to ÖKO-TEX® Standard 100 and is made in Germany. Wearing a mask, when used correctly, reduces the probability of infecting other people and thus helps to reduce the infection risk.
In addition, sewing kits for 5 masks for "self-sewing" are produced at the site in Reutlingen, which helps to secure employment for the employees during the difficult times.
